ON THE RELATIONSHIP WITH ARMANI AND DELL’ORCO
“It’s fundamental. I’ve often been lucky enough to find myself in situations like this, even more so now with Mr Armani and Mr Dell’Orco. People who look at the whole, not just the result. I’ve been lucky enough to meet them, many colleagues don’t have that and are only judged on results. Which of course are a fundamental part of our profession, but there are also other things’.
ON THE ITALIANS
“Flaccadori is playing a very important season and with excellent numbers, especially in the Euroleague, which he had tasted with not many minutes with Bayern Munich. Bortolani has now carved out his space, Tonut has a constant performance and always gives us a hand. In the last game against Tortona we also got important minutes from Caruso, who will find more space after the decision we made to send Kamagate out on loan. A choice we made to allow Ismael to play more, but also because Willy with his work in training has shown that he deserves more minutes’.
ON VALENCIA
“Decisive match? Probably yes. Unfortunately we have been in this situation for a while now, because of the bad first leg we played. Hopefully we will have more energy and play more calmly in the important moments because it is never easy to win away from home.
