ESPN is reportedly making a strong push to bring Steve Kerr back to the NBA broadcasting world. According to The Stein Line, top executives at the network have been lobbying Kerr aggressively to convince him to leave the Golden State Warriors.
Golden State is expected to meet with Kerr as early as Monday to resume talks about his future. Internally, the Warriors have reportedly been operating as if finding common ground on a new deal is more likely than not.
The franchise wants to keep the 60-year-old coach in place alongside Stephen Curry, while ESPN is trying to lure him back in front of the cameras.
