Panathinaikos and Turkey coach Ergin Ataman has denied reports linking Kendrick Nunn to the Turkish national team
Speaking to HT Spor, Ergin Ataman dismissed rumors suggesting that Kendrick Nunn was being considered for Turkish naturalization.
“Our naturalized player is Shane Larkin,” said the Panathinaikos and Turkey head coach.
Turkish media had reported that the federation contacted Nunn, but Ataman made clear there’s no ongoing communication with the player.
The guard discussed his move after eight seasons with Anadolu Efes: “I will always have love and respect for them.”
Both teams will make their EuroLeague debuts in three days. Fenerbahce will host Virtus Bologna, while Besiktas will face Valencia at BJK Akatlar Arena.
