After the EuroLeague derby loss, Ataman reflects on Panathinaikos’ performance, praising Vezenkov while criticizing his roster and highlighting the lack of true power forwards in crucial moments during the game.

Panathinaikos suffered a defeat in the EuroLeague derby against Olympiacos, and head coach Ergin Ataman pointed the finger at some players on his roster after the game. Below are his comments to EuroLeague TV.

Ataman’s words:
“First of all, congratulations to Sasha Vezenkov. He showed that he is a real power forward, a high-level one. Unfortunately, we are playing without power forwards.”
