Efes controls Panathinaikos 83-68 with dominant defensive performance

Anadolu Efes defeated Panathinaikos 83-68 in EuroLeague Round 9 behind an excellent defensive performance. The Greek side never found offensive rhythm and failed to win a single quarter. The game remained physical and intense throughout, but Efes imposed its game plan and gradually took control. The Turkish defense kept Panathinaikos’ offensive talent under pressure and allowed the hosts to build a comfortable margin.

Malcolm and Fernando scored 15 points each for Efes, adding 6 and 5 rebounds respectively, while Payne finished with 14 points and 8 assists.

For Panathinaikos, Kendrick Nunn scored 17 points and Nigel Hayes-Davis added 11, the only two players to reach double figures.
