Mfiondu Kabengele will remain with Dubai Basketball through 2028. The club announced the contract extension of the Canadian center, who was already under contract until 2027.
Kabengele is coming off an impressive EuroLeague debut season, averaging 14.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and a 17.2 PIR. He appeared in 68 games across EuroLeague, ABA League and VTB SuperCup, becoming one of the team’s most reliable players.
In the ABA League, he averaged 14.0 points and 6.3 rebounds, earning a spot in the 2025-26 Ideal Starting Five. He then led Dubai Basketball to the first ABA League title in club history, also winning Finals MVP honors.
