Dreamland Gran Canaria announces the signing of Mehdy Ngouama

Dreamland Gran Canaria is reinforced with Mehdy Ngouama: he will help the team after Albicy's injury.

Dreamland Gran Canaria is reinforced with Mehdy Ngouama (France, 1995), who will immediately start working for Jaka Lakovic and will be part of the insular discipline for the next month, with the option to continue the whole season. The Gran Canarian team adds one more player to the rotation, battered in the last few days by the injury problems suffered by different players of the island team.

Trained in college basketball in the United States, Ngouama has been a professional since 2017. Most of his career has been developed in France, defending the jersey of teams like Nanterre 92, Le Portel, Paris Basketball or Mincidelice JL Bourg-en-Bresse. However, he knows Spanish basketball well, as he played for the then Carplus Fuenlabrada in Liga Endesa during the 22/23 season, averaging 8.1 points, 2.1 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game.

Champion of the BKT EuroCup 23/24 with Paris Basketball, averaging 6.4 points and 2.2 assists per night in 19 games, this year he has played in Bourg-en-Bresse (7.7 points, 3.2 assists) and Le Mans (11.4 points, 1.8 assists) with temporary contracts.

Ngouama will land this Thursday in Gran Canaria and will join the dynamic of the first team from this Friday.
