The Golden State Warriors could consider a major roster overhaul during the season if things go badly, with Draymond Green potentially among the players on the move.
According to ThompsonScribe, Golden State could reach the trade deadline ready to move the veteran: “By the trade deadline, we’ll know ‘this is gonna be tough.’ And we could really fully be saying goodbye, right? Draymond could be traded at the trade deadline.” Stephen Curry, however, would not be considered available: “Steph ain’t going. Steph’s a lifer.”
Green and Jimmy Butler are both on expiring contracts, while the Warriors have around $100 million in expiring deals, giving the franchise significant flexibility to reshape the roster.
