Donovan Mitchell made it clear once again that he wants to remain with the Cleveland Cavaliers for a long time. Ahead of the 2026 NBA Playoffs, the star guard said he feels deeply connected to the city and the organization, stressing that he does not want to play anywhere else.
“I love Cleveland. I’ve said it before: I want to play here for as long as I can,” Mitchell said, adding that his goal is to keep winning at the highest level. His words further strengthen the bond between the Cavs star and a place he says truly feels like home.
Mitchell also admitted he does not understand why some people still doubt his commitment to Cleveland. At a crucial point in the season, the message is clear: the Cavaliers’ leader is focused on the present, but he also sees his future staying with the franchise.
