Doncic on refs after Slovenia’s exit: “Never happened in my life”

Despite 39 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists, Luka Doncic couldn’t prevent Slovenia’s 91-99 loss to Germany in the EuroBasket 2025 quarterfinals.

The Los Angeles Lakers star voiced frustration with officiating: “Four fouls at the start of the third quarter—never in my life. And a technical two minutes in… that shouldn’t happen in a quarterfinal.”

Doncic admitted being “100% angry” but praised his teammates’ fight: “We gave our all. This wasn’t the result we wanted, but our run deserves respect.”
