Donatas Motiejunas parts ways with Crvena Zvezda

The Lithuanian center leaves Belgrade after one season, with the club praising his leadership, professionalism and contributions.

Donatas Motiejunas will not wear the Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet jersey during the 2026/27 season.

The Lithuanian center spent the first part of last season on loan with AS Monaco for two months before signing with Crvena Zvezda for the remainder of the campaign.

Through his conduct on and off the court, his performances, work ethic and leadership in the locker room, Motiejunas represented the club and its values in the best possible way.

For this reason, Crvena Zvezda sincerely thanks him for everything he accomplished while wearing the club’s jersey.

During the season, he appeared in 45 games and scored a total of 316 points.
