Dolomiti Energia Trentino announced an agreement for the 2026/27 season with Charles “Charlie” Brown Jr., a 1997-born American forward standing 198 cm and weighing 84 kg. Brown arrives after playing in the G League with the Memphis Hustle and winning the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto title in the Dominican Republic with Gigantes de San Francisco, where he was named Finals MVP.
Brown is an athletic, quick and versatile wing, able to create with the ball in his hands, attack the rim and provide a threat from long range. Last season with the Memphis Hustle, he averaged 17.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists over 46 games, while in the Dominican finals he posted 21.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
Trento head coach Alessandro Rossi commented on the signing: «Crediamo con Charlie Brown jr di aver fatto un altro passo nella direzione in cui vogliamo. È un giocatore versatile, un ottimo atleta in grado di trattare la palla e agire da creatore aggiunto nel gioco». Brown brings NBA and G League experience to Trento, adding size, athleticism and creation to the Italian club’s new roster.
