Italian prospect Diego Garavaglia has committed to Rutgers University, according to DraftExpress, beginning the next chapter of his basketball career in the NCAA.
The 6-foot-7 forward leaves Ratiopharm Ulm after gaining valuable professional experience in Germany while also standing out with Italy at several FIBA youth competitions. Regarded as one of the country’s top young talents, Garavaglia is expected to bring versatility, toughness, and international experience to Steve Pikiell’s program.
His arrival represents a significant recruiting win for Rutgers, which continues to strengthen its roster with high-upside international prospects ahead of the upcoming college basketball season.
