Devon Hall, the standout star of Olimpia Milano’s victory over Virtus Bologna, speaks with “Uomini e Canestri,” Luca Chiabotti’s column in Repubblica-Milano.
On his return to Milan
“The reasons behind my two decisions are similar—you live for challenges. Spending three seasons in Milan had put me in a comfort zone that I wanted to break out of in order to grow, keep learning, and gain new experiences. It’s part of my development as a person and as a player. I left Milan with this mindset, and I’ve returned with the same mindset and a different challenge: to bring the experience I gained in Istanbul to this organization and do everything I can to help Olimpia reach new, important milestones.”
On the New Olimpia
“It’s still a new team; what I’m trying to do is bring Olimpia to the position it deserves. My teammates want the same thing, and we’re working on it every day. We’re in the midst of a process that needs to develop day by day—we still need to find our identity. If we succeed in that, while continuing to grow, I truly believe we’re a good team.”
