After Jalen Williams tied it with 8.2 seconds left, Devin Booker said he felt calm — “Been here before” — and delivered the last word: a step-back 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds remaining in a 108-105 Suns win over the Thunder. It was his ninth career go-ahead bucket in the final five seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime.
Booker finished with 24 points and hit the winner in isolation against Alex Caruso, with late help from Luguentz Dort. Suns coach Jordan Ott said, “We liked who had the basketball,” while Caruso warned, “You can’t… give an All-Star… a chance to win the game.”
The Suns improved to 21-14 and snapped the Thunder’s run in the season series after losing the first two meetings, including a 49-point NBA Cup defeat without Booker. Jordan Goodwin starred in the comeback with a career-high 26 points and 8-of-13 from 3, fueled by Booker’s playmaking (9 assists): “our superstar passes the basketball,” Ott said.
