Aljami Durham is a new Derthona Basket player. The club announced the signing of the 1.93-meter American point guard, who will play his second season in Italy after his experience with Vanoli Cremona.
Durham averaged 14.4 points and 3.0 assists over 26 games last season, shooting 55.6% from two, 37.1% from three and 83.8% from the free-throw line. His best Serie A performance came against Napoli, with 34 points and a 42 PIR in an 88-81 win.
“I accepted Derthona’s offer because it was a great opportunity for me,” Durham said. Head coach Mario Fioretti highlighted his versatility, balance between scoring and creating for teammates, and ability to be effective on defense.
