Dennis Smith Jr. has signed a one-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks, ESPN reports. The guard, selected 9th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft, returns to the franchise after spending last season in the EuroLeague with Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old began his career in Dallas before being traded to New York in the Kristaps Porzingis deal. He holds career NBA averages of 9.7 points, 4.2 assists and 3 rebounds across 326 games.
