Veteran center DeAndre Jordan is joining the New Orleans Pelicans on a one-year, $3.6 million contract, according to Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports Management via ESPN.
The former All-NBA big man and 2023 NBA champion will enter his 18th season in the league. Jordan, 35, has previously played for the Clippers, Mavericks, Knicks, Nets, Lakers, 76ers, and Nuggets, averaging 8.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game over his career.
The superstar has been impressed by the Serbian guard’s work ethic and enthusiasm during the first days of training camp after an injury-hit season.
