“I just thought I’d be able to outrun [Knicks’ OG Anunoby]. That’s it” That’s how De’Aaron Fox described one of the key moments that decided the thrilling Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals between his San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks.
The guard steals the ball and launches a fast break with less than 15 seconds left and the Spurs leading by one. Instead of running down the clock and drawing a foul, Fox decides to drive to the basket, where he is blocked by OG Anunoby.
