David Blatt spoke to SDNA about what is happening in USA after George Floyd’s death.

“What’s the humanity we are talking about? We need to change. We need to respect each other. We are wasting time and lives. There’s a kid out there, running in the street. He is afraid to be attacked because of his race. I’m so disgusted and mad right now. We have to change.

“We as Sportsman have a big place and platform in society. Our voices can be heard and we must use this gift and take responsibility to fight the inequality inequities and abhorrent systematic racism that exists in our society. Basketball comes second when we have to deal with our lives, our society, our mentality. That will be our biggest contribution”.
