Dave Joerger is joining the Denver Nuggets coaching staff. According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Joerger has agreed to a deal to become the lead assistant coach under head coach David Adelman.
Joerger brings extensive NBA experience to Denver. He previously served as head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings, while also holding several assistant coaching roles across the league.
The move gives the Nuggets an experienced voice alongside Adelman. Joerger’s arrival adds technical knowledge, leadership and high-level coaching background to Denver’s staff ahead of the new season.
