Darussafaka say they proposed to play in Berlin vs. Virtus Bologna but EuroLeague did not accept

In a press release, Darussafaka said that they proposed EuroLeague to play the EuroCup Top 16 game against Virtus Bologna in Berlin, where a lot of Turkish immigrants live, but the request was not accepted by ECA.

The game will be played today at Stark Arena of Belgrade behind closed doors.

Turkish Basketball Federation criticized the decision to play in Belgrade.
