Thompson has played two years with the Italian team.
The guard was also targeted by Unicaja Malaga but he decided to accept Kuban’s proposal.
The Slovenian superstar, owner of BC Roma, shared an Instagram Story while watching the team’s EuroCup debut against the Turkish side.
The 35-year-old Canadian, an NBA veteran with 842 appearances, is reportedly close to joining the Italian club. BC Roma hopes to have him available for the October 11 derby against Maxima Roma.
