In recent months, there has been much speculation about Dario Saric, the Croatian forward for the Denver Nuggets, possibly returning to Europe. Teams linked to the player included Dubai Basketball and Panathinaikos, but it seems that the door to a return to Europe is now closed.
According to Marc Stein, Dario Saric has exercised his contract renewal option with the Denver Nuggets, guaranteeing him a salary of $5.4 million for the upcoming season.
Last season, Saric did not play a significant role for the Nuggets, so it is hard to imagine him being used more next season.
