Darío Brizuela has signed a new deal with FC Barcelona, extending his stay until 2028. The 30-year-old arrived two years ago from Unicaja Malaga and had one year left on his contract.
Following Laprovittola’s injury, Brizuela gained more minutes and built great chemistry with Kevin Punter, even helping as point guard in times of need.
He averaged 9.6 points in Liga Endesa and 10 in EuroLeague, proving key in the backcourt rotation. Barcelona secures a solid contributor for the seasons to come.
