Danny Green considers Russell Westbrook one of the 10 greatest point guards in NBA history. According to the former guard, even Westbrook’s critics must recognize the significance of his accomplishments.
“Even if you don’t respect his body of work or don’t like him, he’s got to be in your top 10,” Green said. “We never thought we would see anybody average a triple-double again. He made it look easy.”
Westbrook retired after 18 seasons as the NBA’s career leader with 209 triple-doubles. The 2017 MVP finished with averages of 20.9 points, 8.0 assists and 6.9 rebounds while earning nine All-NBA selections.
