Daniele Baiesi officially leaves Bayern Munich. After the double BBL triumph, the manager is returning to Italy, according to the club’s official press release.
“Working at Bayern was an immense honour and an indescribable privilege. For this I would like to sincerely thank all those with whom and for whom I have worked over the years. I hope I have been able to repay the incredible trust and respect I have always received here and leave the club in a better position. I leave with great affection and gratitude.
Baiesi arrived at Bayern in 2017 after his experience at Bamberg: he won the title in 2018, 2019 and 2024, also playing two EuroLeague playoffs with Andrea Trinchieri on the bench.
“We knew for a long time that Daniele wanted a change after a decade in Germany. We regret it very much and wish him all the luck for the future,” says Bayern CEO Marko Pesic.
