Daniel Hackett over 2.000 points in Euroleague: I’m very happy to reach this goal with this jersey

Hackett is the third Italian to reach this milestone, after Gigi Datome and Gianluca Basile

CSKA Moscow guard Daniel Hackett passed a career total of 2,000 points in Euroleague during the win against ASVEL.

The italian guard ended the game with 27 points (9/12 FG, 6/7 FT), 5 rebounds and 4 assists.

Hackett played in Euroleague with Siena, AX Armani Exchange Milan, Olympiacos Piraeus, Brose Bamberg and CSKA Moscow.

After the game the USC product talked about his team’s victory and the milestone achieved.

“The biggest factor was that we fought as a team. On back to back nights coming from a game in Athens each of us had to give more in terms of effort, energy and focus. Those guys were excellent all night, fighting and keeping a team like ASVEL who’s having a great season to low scoring. I’m very proud of our team effort and we’ve got to keep it going. It’s pretty cool accomplishment to reach 2,000 points. I want to thank all my teammates from my past teams, all the coaches who had the patience to guide me through this journey. You don’t do it alone, you do it with the help of teammates, and I’m very happy to reach this goal with this jersey on my chest.”
