The Miami Heat continue to explore ways to add depth to their backcourt. After bringing in Giannis Antetokounmpo, Klay Thompson and Tim Hardaway Jr., the Florida franchise could look for another experienced guard behind Davion Mitchell.
According to Ira Winderman, D’Angelo Russell could become an option if he reaches a buyout agreement with the Memphis Grizzlies. Miami is also considering a possible reunion with Gabe Vincent, potentially through a non-guaranteed training camp invitation.
Russell would provide additional experience and playmaking to the backcourt, although his availability will depend on whether his situation with Memphis is resolved.
