Dalton Knecht has agreed to a two-way deal with the New York Knicks after being waived by the Lakers

Dalton Knecht has found a new team after being waived by the Los Angeles Lakers. The former No. 17 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft has agreed to a two-way contract with the New York Knicks.

Knecht had also drawn interest from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings and Minnesota Timberwolves. New York will need to open a two-way slot to complete the move.

After making a promising start to his rookie season with the Lakers, Knecht gradually fell out of JJ Redick’s rotation and was waived before the start of the regular season.
