Dallas is mainly targeting players capable of playing big wing, since the trade for Grant Williams did not pay off.
Washington is in the first year of the three-year, $46.5 million contract he extended with Charlotte last summer.
During the Mavericks’ Media Day, the guard discussed the possibility of finishing his career in Dallas, while stressing that the decision does not depend solely on him.
Chicago and Charlotte have reached a deal that also involves cash: Hield joins the Bulls, while Dillingham heads to the Hornets.
Charlotte has officially signed the 1999-born guard, who joins the Hornets’ roster.
Charlotte has waived the guard, who will now go through the waiver process. The Nuggets are reportedly among the teams interested in offering him a two-way contract.
