Cyprus has officially ruled out the option of hosting Maccabi Tel Aviv home games for the upcoming EuroLeague season. Local authorities cited security concerns as the reason for the decision.
After two years in Belgrade, Maccabi needs a new location, as returning to Israel is still not possible due to the ongoing conflict. Cyprus had emerged as a favorite, but is now off the table.
The search continues for a new host city. Maccabi must quickly secure an alternative venue to play its home fixtures in the EuroLeague.
