CSKA Moscow in talks with players for salary ‘compromise’, Vatutin says

CSKA president also commented the Nikola Milutinov rumor in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Interviewed by RIA Novosti, CSKA Moscow president Andrey Vatutin has weighed in on the rumored agreement with Nikola Milutinov and the current basketball situation due to Coronavirus.

“Well, of course, millions of euros, well, of course, it’s CSKA. Why 9? Write 18 million”, Vatutin said about the Milutinov rumor. “Everything in the economy is crashing down, restrictions are being extended, and CSKA confidently throws millions from the bedside table. Because of quarantine and self-isolation, I don’t remember the last time I picked up a pen in order to sign something. For CSKA, as for all Euroleague clubs, it’s now more important to find a compromise on salaries with current players”.
