Nebojša Ilić, team manager of Crvena Zvezda since 2001 and of the Serbian national team since 2010, was arrested after an escape attempt by the police while driving under the influence of alcohol.
At the time of his arrest, his blood alcohol level was found to be 1.7 g/l. Two police vehicles were involved during the chase.
Ilić, a former player and current sports manager, has a rich palmarès with Crvena Zvezda, including numerous national and regional titles.
