Crvena Zvezda are reportedly pushing to bring Filip Petrusev back to Belgrade, with the Dubai big man their top frontcourt target

Crvena Zvezda are reportedly working hard to bring Filip Petrusev back to Belgrade. The big man has fallen out of Dubai Basketball’s rotation and is said to be the Serbian club’s top frontcourt target.

According to Greek journalist Sotiris Vetakis, Zvezda are strongly pursuing a reunion with Petrusev. The Serbian big man did not play in Dubai’s latest EuroLeague game against Crvena Zvezda and has averaged 3.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in around 11 minutes over his first three appearances.

Richaun Holmes has also reportedly been offered to the club, but Petrusev remains the priority. Zvezda’s front office, including Milan Tomic and Milos Teodosic, is said to be working on the move. Petrusev previously played for Crvena Zvezda in 2022-23 and again in 2024-25, when he averaged 14.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 16.5 PIR in EuroLeague.
