Crvena Zvezda, Navarro: “Bayern plays better on the road, this will be a different challenge”

Crvena Zvezda hosts Bayern Munich in EuroLeague Round 9, with Ibon Navarro highlighting the German side’s unusual defensive identity and its ability to manage double-round weeks.

“I think Bayern is a team that manages its players’ minutes really well. They play great in double-round weeks and they play better on the road than at home,” Navarro said.

“They play a different defense from everyone else, and it will be a challenge to find a solution. They have great players like Obst, Jessup and Wiley. This will be completely different from the game we played against Maccabi.”
