From Serbia comes reports of a market derby between Crvena Zvezda and Partizan Belgrade for Italian point guard Alessandro Pajola.
Partizan have reportedly shown interest following a direct request from coach Penarroya, who views him as an ideal addition to strengthen the backcourt rotation. Meanwhile, Crvena Zvezda’s long-standing interest in bringing Pajola to Belgrade is well known, also boosted by the presence of his former mentor and ex-teammate Milos Teodosic.
Pajola is said to be seeking a one-year deal worth €1.2 million.
