Nikola Kalinic has officially joined Ibon Navarro’s coaching staff at Crvena Zvezda. The Serbian club announced the move, describing the former player as one of the most important figures in its history.
“This is not the end, but a new beginning. Our staff has been strengthened by a man who showed on the court how much he loves Crvena Zvezda,” president Zeljko Drcelic said in the club’s official statement. “He will bring his understanding of the club, authority, energy and basketball knowledge.”
Kalinic will also work alongside Milos Teodosic, another Serbian basketball legend who joined Crvena Zvezda’s structure during the summer. “Now we have Teo and Kalina courtside and inside the club, bringing experience, a winning mentality and new energy,” Drcelic added.
