Two legends, one last alley-oop

Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook are enjoying some time in Italy following the end of their NBA careers, and the two former All-Stars couldn’t resist getting a basketball back in their hands.

While aboard a yacht, Paul and Westbrook exchanged alley-oops to each other, producing a spectacular and lighthearted moment that quickly drew attention on social media.

Celebrating retirement in style

Paul recently announced his retirement after 21 seasons in the NBA, closing a career that included 12 All-Star selections, two Olympic gold medals and more than 12,500 assists.

Westbrook, meanwhile, also recently called time on his legendary career. The former MVP and nine-time All-Star is the NBA’s all-time leader in triple-doubles.

Now away from the NBA spotlight, the two longtime stars are enjoying a well-deserved break in Italy — while proving that, even in retirement, they can still connect for an alley-oop.
