Corey Webster has not signed with Enisey yet, Virtus Roma is pursuing him

Webster may end up in Italy

Despite the reports from a New Zealander website, Corey Webster has not signed with Enisey Krasnoyarsk, as of now, a source told Sportando.

The top scorer of the FIBA Basketball World Cup is also pursued by Virtus Roma which is looking for a player to replace Jerome Dyson, a league sourced told Sportando.

Webster has started the season with New Zealand Breakers leaving the team for Chinese team Zhejiang Lions after signing a two-year contract extension with New Zealand Breakers.

His experience in China lasted a few games due to coronavirus that obliged the authorities to block CBA. He is pursued by Enisey Krasnoyarsk but Virtus Roma is seriously pursuing him and is ready to offer him a contract for the remainder of the season.

Webster averaged 22.8ppg at the World Cup for New Zealand. He also had 19.
