Cox joins the Israeli team

Former Mississippi Valley State forward Cor-J Cox has signed a contract with Maccabi Ashdod for the resumption of the Israeli Winner League season.

Cox most recently played in Georgia. He has also played in Austria, Finland, France and Hungary.

Brown previously played in Israel from 2022 to 2024 with Maccabi Tel Aviv, which was likely his best two-year stretch in Europe

The club has canceled any warning letters or legal actions against its supporters, choosing dialogue as its preferred path

The EuroLeague champions face the Israeli side at 6 p.m. in Nicosia, Cyprus, in the International Basketball Tournament.

Dimitris Itoudis and Tomas Satoransky commented on the victory.

Hapoel won 80–78 against Maxima Roma.
