The draw for the 2026 Copa del Rey, scheduled for 19-22 February in Valencia, has been made. This is the picture, pending the final decision on fourth place, which is up for grabs between Murcia and Baskonia. The winner of the 2025 Frecciarossa Final Eight, Paolo Galbiati, is also in the running.

On 19 February, we will have Real Madrid vs Unicaja Malaga and Valencia vs Joventut Badalona. On the 20th, on the other side of the draw, Barcelona and Tenerife will face Baskonia and Murcia.

How we got here

At 12:00 in Valencia, the ceremony will determine quarterfinal matchups and the semifinal bracket.
Real Madrid, Valencia Basket, Barça, Kosner Baskonia, UCAM Murcia, Unicaja, La Laguna Tenerife and Joventut Badalona are in.

The Copa del Rey Valencia 2026 has its eight participants after Jornada 17: Real Madrid, Valencia Basket, Barça, Kosner Baskonia, UCAM Murcia, Unicaja, La Laguna Tenerife and Joventut Badalona. The draw will take place on Monday, January 26 at 12:00 at the Teatre Martin i Soler (Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía).

The event will be hosted by journalist Alejandra Llambés and former acb player Pepe Pozas, and streamed live on the acb YouTube channel. Víctor Claver and David Ferrer will act as “innocent hands,” with Antonio Martín (acb president), José Luis Díez and Rocío Gil also attending.

The draw uses two pots—seeded teams and non-seeded teams—to set the quarterfinals and the semifinal crossings, completing the final bracket for February 19-22. The last seed depends on the postponed Dreamland Gran Canaria–Kosner Baskonia game: Baskonia will be seeded if they win, otherwise UCAM Murcia will take that spot; Real Madrid are placed in Quarterfinal A and will play on Thursday.
