According to Michael Scotto, the Los Angeles Clippers have held ‘exploratory talks’ with the New York Knicks for Nerlens Noel.
The Clippers have a 9.7 million trade exception to acquire the big man, who will earn about 9.2 million next season.
Having reportedly promised the taxpayer mid-level exception to John Wall , the Clippers are likely to lose talented big man Isaiah Hartenstein in Free Agency.
The Knicks with this trade would free up additional space -about 24.5 million total- to make a major offer to Jalen Brunson.
