The Los Angeles Clippers remain focused on building a playoff-caliber team despite losing Kawhi Leonard and receiving major sanctions from the NBA, according to Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer.
“All summer long and through today, the Clippers have been focused on building out a playoff-caliber team for this season,” Fischer said. Following the Toronto trade, Brandon Ingram becomes the primary offensive option alongside Darius Garland.
The roster also features Bradley Beal, Brook Lopez, Max Strus, Derrick Jones Jr. and Kris Dunn. Although ESPN ranked Los Angeles 29th in its future power rankings, the franchise does not appear interested in entering a long-term rebuild.
