Clippers expected to pursue Rajon Rondo in free agency

Two-time NBA champion has said he plans to test the open market.

The Clippers have interest in signing the Lakers’ Rajon Rondo, reports Marc Stein of the New York Times, and are expected to pursue Rondo when free agency opens in November.

While the Lakers are reportedly determined to re-sign Rondo after the role he played in their title run, the the Clippers are eager to upgrade at point guard.

Two-time NBA champions has said he is planning to test the market: this means he is very likely to decline his $2.7m option for next season.
