Clint Capela wants to show that he will be ‘a big part’ of the Atlanta Hawks

Before the trade that sent him to Atlanta, Capela was averaging 13.9 points, 13.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks for the Houston Rockets

Atlanta Hawks big man Clint Capela said to Ajc.com that he recovered from the injury that prevented him from making the debut with his new team.

“I really feel that my heel has really healed. So it doesn’t bother me when I walk around with it or when I work out, so far. I just can’t wait to go out there and play”

Now he can not wait to show his worth and learn about the new teammates.

“I’m really excited to just show my presence,” Capela said. “Doesn’t matter how it is, just excited to show my presence and just show that I’m here and show that I will be a big part of the team.”

Before the trade that sent him to Atlanta, Capela was averaging 13.9 points, 13.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks for the Houston Rockets, shooting 53% from the field and 53% from the foul line.
