Darius Garland exited Wednesday’s 133-107 Cleveland Cavaliers win over the Philadelphia 76ers because of a right foot injury.
Midway through the third quarter, he stayed down for an extended stretch, then was helped up and limped to the bench.
He remained on the bench before eventually walking to the locker room with a towel over his head.
Cleveland ruled him out shortly thereafter, after he had posted 20 points and seven assists in 23 minutes, according to the text.
The report notes Garland has dealt with turf toe on his left foot dating to last season, including surgery that delayed his 2025-26 start.
Donovan Mitchell said Garland was “in good spirits,” while acknowledging the concern.
