After Red Star’s loss to Valencia Basket, Chima Moneke breaks down the game and praises the opponent

Red Star suffered a heavy 106-89 home loss to Valencia Basket, missing key chances throughout the game.
Chima Moneke posted 15 points, 9 rebounds and led his team in efficiency.

Speaking afterward, Moneke highlighted Valencia’s quality, calling them “a special team” and stressing the defensive aspect.
“If you don’t defend, they punish you,” he said, also crediting coach Pedro Martinez, whom he worked with in Manresa.

Moneke then addressed officiating with a sharp line: “If I say what I think, they’ll take my entire salary”.
Looking ahead to Zalgiris, he added: “Every game is different, it always depends on us”.
