Chicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso has suffered a “significant” left ankle sprain. His availability for Friday’s eighth-place play-in game against Miami is in doubt after Andre Drummond accidentally stepped on his foot in the win over the Hawks.
However, after a scan revealed little swelling, there is growing optimism that Caruso will be able to take the court. A decision on his availability will be made closer to the game.
