Charlotte Hornets’ Miles Bridges exits vs Bucks with right ankle injury

Miles Bridges exited Monday’s 123-113 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks with a right ankle injury and did not return. The issue occurred early in the first quarter when Bridges tried to fight through a Myles Turner screen and landed awkwardly on his right foot.

Although he stayed in the game, he appeared to aggravate the ankle again while closing out on Gary Trent Jr. on a 3-point attempt, landing on his right foot and hobbling. Bridges left the floor and did not come back for the second quarter, finishing with three points and three rebounds in seven minutes.

The Hornets were already thin, with Kon Knueppel (ankle) and Ryan Kalkbrenner (elbow) sidelined. Another injury blow for Charlotte in a difficult night.
